Dear Uncle Don (Kathy, Joyce, Lori, Helen and Darlene too)
I am so sorry you had to say goodbye to your sweetheart of 66+ years. You and Aunt Alice were a good team together. I remember you both from way back in our Enarotali and then Homeo days....wearing hiking boots, holding tall sticks for hiking in muddy trails, Aunt Alice had on a straw hat to keep from getting a sunburn as we traveled across Lake Panai and then trekked into the mountains regions of Papua. Even though I was a preschooler, I remember there was a zeal on your hearts to take the Good News to tribal, primitive people who had never heard the name of Jesus. God called Aunt Alice home first...but we know she and a great company of Damal will be waiting for your arrival (for all of us!)
Praising God for our great salvation in Christ! 'And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God!!'

Lori, I am so sorry for your loss. May the Lord comfort you during this difficult time. Thank you for sharing your mom's story. What a faithful, Godly woman, who was obedient to the Lord and shared her faith with so many people. Blessings to you and your family. Love, Judy Green

To Don, Kathy, Joyce, Lori, Helen, Darlene, and your children and grandchildren...
We are so sorry for your loss, while knowing the rich legacy of a parent who has lived a life of service to others and to Jesus. May your hearts be comforted as you gather to celebrate Alice's life. We cry with you, as the Papuans, do...while rejoicing that God has called her to spend eternity with Him and the saints who are already there.
Praying for you, sending our love, Joy & John

Alice is experiencing "face to face with Christ her Savior." She leaves a wonderful legacy behind and may all those left behind find and know the joy of the Lord that she had. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and a memorial will be sent to TGCF at the Alliance.

A victory parade in heaven today for Mrs. Alice Gibbons. Blessings and comfort to the family. Our loss, heaven's gain. A crown of glory was reserved for her, and today she lays it at the feet of her Master.
