Bonnie R. Paise

Bonnie Rae Paise passed away peacefully at her home in Escalon on July 13, 2017 at the age of 87.  Bonnie was born on January 18, 1930 in Susanville, California to William and Mildred McGowen.  She was a resident of Fremont, California for most of her life until settling in Escalon in 2001.

Bonnie was always a hard worker. She held many jobs throughout her adult life but her biggest accomplishment was owning her own antique shop for over 15 years.  Bonnie will be remembered for her generosity and selflessness. She wouldn’t hesitate to open her home to those in need.  She enjoyed gardening, crocheting and reading but above all else she loved her family.  Her favorite joy was to cook and entertain for those she loved.  She was an amazing mother, grandmother and great grandmother that will be truly missed.

Bonnie leaves behind her children, Susan Mouw, Larry Paise and Deborah Scannell, her grandchildren; David Suriano, Laura Paise, Larry Paise, Shiela Theimann, Micah Mouw, Samuel Mouw, Declan Scannell, Isaac Mouw, and Alana Scannell along with 10 great grandchildren.  Bonnie also leaves behind her brother, Donald Shields and her sister, Ruthanne.  Bonnie is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Paul Paise and her son, Michael Paise.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Deegan Funeral Chapel.  A graveside service is scheduled for Wednesday, July 19 at 10:00 AM at Burwood Cemetery in Escalon.  Please consider donations in Bonnie’s memory to the Escalon Animal Shelter.
