Douglas Wade Hickman

Douglas Wade Hickman, 49 was taken to be with the Lord on July 25, 2017 in Ripon, CA. He passed away at home surrounded by his loving family after a courageous 12 year battle with brain cancer.

He was born on November 3, 1967 in Escalon, Ca. to Mickey and Sharon Hickman. He attended Ripon Elementary School and graduated from Ripon High School in 1986. After high school Doug became a Journeyman Carpenter and worked his career at Conco-West in Manteca. 

Doug enjoyed watching sports, especially football and hockey. He loved the outdoors, he was an avid bow hunter and fisherman. But his greatest joy was his children and grandson. Doug was a special, loving, patient man who was loved by all who knew him.

Doug leaves behind his loving children, Paul Hickman, Jordan Hickman, Mickenna Hickman, Faith Hickman and Abigail Hickman, all of Modesto, his grandson Dayton Hickman and his brother Brad Hickman of Ripon.
