Esther Sandoval

September 16, 1940 ~ September 14, 2017 (age 76) 76 Years Old

Esther Lopez Sandoval, age 76, of Escalon went home to the Lord on Thursday September 14th, 2017.

Esther was born in Yurecuaro, Michoacan, Mexico to parents Inocencio Lopez and Elena Reyes Lopez. She was raised in a loving family of 11 children. Esther came to California in 1960, where she would marry a handsome U.S. Marine and raise a loving family of her own.

Esther was a beacon of light to her family and friends, and her friends would all become family. She is remembered by all for her beautiful smile, her warm and caring nature, her strong devotion to the Lord and for the sincere kindness and love she demonstrated daily to everyone she came in contact with throughout her life. Her greatest joy came from her grandchildren, whom she adored with all her heart. Her beauty, inside and out, left a great impression on all who knew her. She will always be remembered as an Angel on Earth.

Esther was predeceased by her husband Rodolfo Sandoval. She is survived by her  loving children Rudy Sandoval, Elsa Sandoval, Anett S. Serrato and Helen S. Mihalopoulos. She is survived by her siblings Agripina L. Rizo, Fernando Lopez, Manuel Lopez, Vicente Lopez, Alfredo Lopez and Enrique Lopez. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren Rudy Jr, Vanessa, Joseph, Nathan and Isabella.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Deegan Funeral Chapels.  A visitation is scheduled for Monday, September 25 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Deegan Chapel in Escalon.  A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for Tuesday, September 26 at 9:00 AM at Trinity Church in Escalon followed by a graveside service at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella at 1:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to a Christian Ministry group in Mexico that was near and dear to Esther’s heart. Remembrances can be made payable to Trinity Church in Escalon and sent to1900 California Street Escalon, CA 95320. Please be sure to write her name and “Mexico Missions” on memo line.
