Gust Kisst

It is with great sadness that we announce our beloved Gus Kisst has passed away at 88 years old on April 19, 2024.

Gus was born in Helper, Utah to Athena and Gust Kisst Sr. He was one of six children survived by his sister Mary Christy and predeceased by Cleo Kazas, John Kisst, Stevie Kisst and Bessie Foster.

Gus is the father to Debbie Cole and David Kisst. Grandfather to Josh Cole, Ryan Cole, Cameron Kisst and Madison Kisst. Great grandfather to Athena Cole, Adam Kisst, Lucy Kisst and Zoey Kisst.

Gus was a central and adored figure in his family. He was a devoted Husband, Father ,Grandfather and Great-Grandpa as well as a steadfast friend. He maintained long, rich friendships and held the hearts of his kids and Grandkids in his giant, working-hands. Many know Gus as the founder of Green Thumb Landscape Inc, a business he nurtured and grew for over 60 years and continued to build with his son and grandson right up to the very end.

Gus lost his wife Clara of 67 years only 7 weeks ago. Though our hearts are broken, our family takes solace in the hope that he is with her again.

Graveside services will be held at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery on April 30, 2024 at 11:00 AM
