Rafael Munguia

Rafael Munguia went to be with his heavenly Father on Saturday, May 27, 2017. He was born in Jalisco, Mexico on February 4, 1960. At a young age, he helped support his family and took great pride in his children, granddaughters, and nieces and nephews. Rafael always enjoyed a nice cold corona, riding his jet skis and spending time with his loving family. Everywhere he went he made friends and long lasting friendships. He showed us incredible work ethic and he truly loved to help anyone in need. He touched many lives and will be forever missed. He will be long remembered for his hard work, selflessness and supportive and loving nature.

Rafael leaves behind his loving wife of 32 years, Sandra Munguia, his parents Rafael Munguia and Delfina Barajas, his children Melissa Mendez and Andrew Munguia, his granddaughters Izabella and Rebekah Mendez, his siblings Teresa, Ricardo and Jorge Munguia, and several nieces, nephews and friends. 

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 1st from 5-8pm, followed by a Rosary at 8pm at Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 2nd at 1pm at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Manteca. Burial will be held at a later date.
