Ruth Alice Foyil

Ruth Alice Rampoldi passed away peacefully at her home in Escalon at on October 4, 2017 at the age of 87.  Ruth was born on September 30, 1930 in Escalon.  She lived several places but returned to Escalon in 1998 and remained there until her passing.

Ruth enjoyed crocheting.  She had a soft spot for animals so she would crochet blankets and distribute them to animal shelters all over the local area.  Ruth also enjoyed spending time in her garden and doing her puzzles.  She will be deeply missed by her family, especially her sweet doggy companion, Muffin.

Ruth leaves behind her children, Tom Geist of Osage Beach, MO, Marina Geist McCoy of Escalon and Leeds Foyil from Brookings, OR, her grandchildren, Tom McCoy, Cheri Poorman, Jacob Foyil and Garrett Foyil along with 5 great grandchildren.  Ruth is preceded in death by her brother, Tom Rampoldi. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Deegan Funeral Chapels.  Ruth will be laid to rest during a private family service.
