Born in Santa Clara, CA, AJ lived in San Jose with his parents until the family moved to Manteca in 2016. AJ passed away March 27, 2023 just a couple of months shy of his 16th birthday. AJ is survived by his parents, Ambrose & Corrina Brisco; his grandmother, Marilyn Marker; his sister, Tori (Brisco) Harris; his niece Vivian and countless aunts, uncles & cousins.
AJ was a sophomore at Ripon High School where he loved his math and computer business applications classes. School was always one his favorite places and he hated when he missed a day. AJ was recently voted Winterfest King by his fellow Indians. As a Freshman, he was honored as a Tribe Award winner for his kindness and the positive impact he made on staff and students alike. He was also a proud Weston Wildcat, where he was a member of Safety Patrol and was Student Body Secretary his 8th grade year. AJ was a lover of all things Lego, Star Wars, Ghostbusters, Power Rangers and card games. It was a special treat when those passions combined. AJ also loved going to the movies and was always excited to go see the new releases (often multiple times).
AJ was a loving and gentle soul and could always be counted on for a “hello” and a smile. AJ never met anyone he didn’t like and treated everyone with kindness. It was common to have him ask how your day was going or if you were having a good day. He had a special way of bringing you into his world and would talk your ear off if you let him. AJ was also a loving grandson who called his Grandma just about every day and always looked forward to spending time with her.
His unexpected passing has devastated his parents and leaves a huge void in the hearts of all who loved him. He is missed terribly.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, April 22 at 11:00 AM at the Ripon High School Amphitheater, 301 N. Acacia Ave in Ripon.
