Annabelle Cunningham

Annabelle Cunningham, 93, passed away peacefully at her home in Ripon on July 17th 2022.  Annabelle was born the oldest of eight children on March 31, 1929 in Edgerton, Minnesota to parents Jilles and Marjorie Van Nieuwenhuyzen.  She has been a resident of Ripon for most of her life.  She has been a devoted member of the First Christian Reformed Church in Ripon for over 68 years.  She enjoyed reading and taking care of her home and her family.  She loved to cook and spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She will be remembered for her endless generosity, unfailing love for God and her devotion to her family.

Annabelle leaves behind her loving husband of 66 years, Leroy Cunningham, her children, Cheryl Lynn Cunningham, Rosalie Sartin (Randy) and Bruce Cunningham, her grandchildren, Joshua Cunningham (Sandra), Janelle Cunningham - Vilmur (Austin), Regina Vincent (Tony) and Kris Ray (Shelby) along with her great grandchildren, Jayden, Mason, Makayla, McKinzy, Luke and Jacob.  She is preceded in death by her daughter, Bonnie Ray.

Deegan Funeral Chapel is honored to serve the Cunningham family.  A graveside service is scheduled for Friday, July 22nd at 9:00 AM at Ripon Cemetery followed by a memorial service at 10:00 AM at First Christian Reformed Church in Ripon.  Donations in Annabelle’s memory may be made to Ripon Christian Schools or Community Hospice.  Annabelle’s family would like to acknowledge her caregivers, Eva Guerra, Sandra Cunningham, Andrea Van Elderen and Kelly Shipley for making Annabelle’s last few years as comfortable as possible.
