Anthony Joseph Ferreiro passed away April 13, 2024, at the age of 20, in Escalon. Anthony was born July 28, 2003, in Castro Valley to parents, George Ferreiro and Patricia Hernandez and one of 5 children. Anthony was a classic and muscle car enthusiast, enjoyed listening to all kinds of music, playing video games with his friends, BBQing with his family and he loved to go fishing when he could. He was also a huge Raider’s and Oakland A’s fan. Anthony will always be known for his goofiness; he was a big kid at heart. He was taken from us too soon. Anthony will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Anthony is survived by his parent’s, George Ferreiro, and Patricia Hernandez; his siblings, Alisha Renteria (Chris) of Dublin, Andrea Lopez (Rick) of Texas, Lydia Marquez (Rick) of San Leandro and Vanessa Renteria (Matt) of Manteca. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Isabella, Diego, Nickolaus, Sophia, Alexis, Ila, Alahna, Luke, Amelia, Olivia, Rickie, Jalina, and Anthony.
Deegan Funeral Chapel is honored to serve the Ferreiro family. A viewing and rosary for Anthony will be held at Deegan Funeral Chapel, 1441 San Joaquin St. in Escalon, Monday, April 22, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. Mass will be held, Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 19399 Hwy 120 in Ripon, followed by the Committal at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery behind the church.
