Barbara Sue Muny peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on July 20, 2021, at the age of 77. Barbara was born on July 10, 1944, in Clarksville, Arkansas to parents Doyle and Ethel Standen.  Gardening was one of Barbara’s favorite hobbies, she especially loved her succulents and tending to all her plants. She was known for her unconditional love for her family, A semi-pro bowler and being a sports enthusiast. Some of Barbara’s favorite teams were the San Francisco Giants, Oakland Raiders, Sacramento Kings and The Golden State Warriors. For Barbara’s 70th Birthday she had the wonderful opportunity of traveling to Boston and visiting the JFK Library. Barbara especially loved Elvis Presley and her 2 cats, Koko & Kole.

Barbara leaves behind her 2 children, Michael Muny and Angela Cangiamilla (Zach) of Modesto; her grandchildren, Caleb Cangiamilla, Kristal Paysen; and great-grandchildren, Paisleigh and Rosemaree Paysen. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Rosalee Butler, Wayne Standen and granddaughter Chloe Cangiamilla.

Deegan Funeral Chapel is honored to serve the Standen family. A memorial service is scheduled for Monday July 26, 2021, at 11:00 am at Deegan Funeral Chapel, 1441 San Joaquin St., Escalon, Ca 95320. Barbara’s final resting place will be with her husband at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
