Beverly Jean Scroggins

Beverly Jean Scroggins was born on October 15, 1944 in San Francisco, California.  She passed away peacefully at her home in Valley Springs, California, on February 21st, 2021, surrounded by her adoring husband of 56 years and four children, gathered around her bedside. She was finally at rest from her 10-year long battle with Alzheimer’s.

Beverly absolutely loved being outdoors, going to the beach and dancing. Her passion was gardening, and she always kept her yard beautiful. If you wanted to make her day, all you had to do was give her a call on the phone, or sit and have a coffee and a chat with her. Beverly was an amazing mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who never missed a birthday card, and always had a cake waiting for you when you got there. Beverly is celebrating her reunion with her mom, dad and brothers in Heaven right now. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Beverly is preceded in passing by her parents and brothers, William and Thomas Menzel. She is survived by her beloved husband, Jimmy Scroggins; children, James Scroggins, Troy and Deana Scroggins, Tammy and Jaime Espiritu, and Laura and Mike Wilcox; grandchildren, Justin and Jocelyn Scroggins, Makenna Scroggins, Emily and RJ Martinez, Gavin Scroggins, Shane Lopez, Kayen Espiritu, Amaya Espiritu, Malikai Espiritu, Kimo Espiritu, Ezekiel Espiritu, Ashlynd Dunn, Alexis Dunn and Michael Wilcox; and great-grandchildren, Shane Lopez Jr., Micah Martinez, and Shepard Martinez.

A Graveside Service will be held in her honor at Burwood Cemetery in Escalon, California on March 3rd at 11 AM
