Donald Maliepaard

Donald Maliepaard, 73, of Ripon, passed away on Aug. 2, 2020.

Donald was born in Modesto to Cornelius and Wilhelmina Maliepaard on Jan. 13, 1947.  A life long Ripon resident, Donald graduated from Ripon Christian High School. He worked at his dad's shop on Main Street before joining the Army during Vietnam. When he came back to Ripon after serving he continued his career as an auto mechanic while also volunteering for 21 years as an EMT for Ripon Fire, and was a long time member and President of the Ripon Interfaith Ministries.  He married Teresa Maliepaard on July 31, 2014 in Stockton. 

Donald was preceded in death by his parents Cornelius and Wilhelmina Maliepaard and sister Esther Alves. 

Don is survived by his wife, Teresa Maliepaard, as well as his sons, Todd Maliepaard and wife Irene, and Mark Maliepaard and wife Jessica, granddaughters Katelynn and Adelynn, his siblings, Richard (Beverly) Maliepaard, Shirley Jorgensen, Audrey Helton, and Mike Alves.

 Visitation will be 5:00PM to 8:00PM, Thursday, Aug. 13 at Deegan Memorial Chapel.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 14, 2020 at 10:00 AM  at Calvary Reformed Church with Pastor Brett Dood officiating. Arrangements are by Deegan Memorial Chapel.
