Let us celebrate Doug's life, We will miss him some, grieve for him some, and let us realize he is in a peaceful place, A happier forever because Doug didn't lose the battle
He won the victory, the victory of eternal life. The angels will soon take his hand and fly
him through heaven to be introduced to God, what a glorious awesome privilege. We had Doug for almost 5o years, now he'll be in God's care for ever.

Everytime I come across this passage in 1st Corinthians 13 Doug always comes to mind and it makes my heart smile for more reasons than I can even express~
Love is patient love is kind, love is not jealous, love does not brag and is not arrogant, love does not act unbecomingly and does not seek its own, love is does not provoke, does not take into account any wrong suffering, does not rejoice in unrighteousness but rejoices in the truth; love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things endures all things.
This to me was Doug and his temperament and characteristics. In the way he lived his life and the way he made others feel that came into his life. Read on and just watch I bet this makes your heart smile as well.
Doug was patient, Doug was kind, Doug was not jealous. Doug did not brag and was not arrogant, Doug did not act unbecomingly and did not seek his own. Doug was not provoked and did not carry with him anyones wrong doing. Doug did not rejoice in unrighteousness but he rejoiced with the truth. Doug beared all things, believed all things and hoped all things and endured all things.
Doug was and will continue to be love for me and for so many. Thank you for the shoulder in my time of need, the tears you turned to laughter and the love. ♡♡♡♡♡
