Earl Freitas

Earl Louis Freitas passed away peacefully on November 1, 2017 in Modesto at the age of 70. Earl was born on July 19, 1947 to Arthur and Dorothy Freitas in Mokawao, Hawaii. The family eventually moved to Santa Clara, California where Earl grew up and spent many years. In 2003, Earl retired and moved to Oakdale to enjoy his retirement with his wife.

Earl worked as a plumber for over 35 years. During his free time, he enjoyed any and all sports, especially NASCAR and Sprint Car races and taking road trips. He was an excellent cook and often enjoyed trying new recipes. He was an amazing husband, father and grandfather that will be deeply missed by his family.

Earl leaves behind his wife of 33 years, Ina Freitas, his children; John Freitas (Marlisa), Stacy Freitas, Brian Freitas (Cathy) and Randy Ratliff (Stacy) and his grandchildren; Keoni, Keanna , Aleah, Amber, Hailey, Hanna and Tyler. Earl also leaves behind two siblings.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Deegan Funeral Chapel. A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, November 11th at 11:00 AM at Deegan Chapel in Escalon.
