Elizabeth Kay McDonald passed away suddenly on September 21, 2019 in Sonora, CA at the age of 49. Elizabeth was born on August 16, 1970 to parents Bill and Dorothy Gilbreth in Modesto. She has been a resident of Escalon for the past 20 years.
Elizabeth worked part time as a manicurist, doing nails for many years. On her time off she enjoyed flower arranging, crocheting, sewing and anything crafty. She loved spending time shopping and could spend hours in a gift shop. Above all else, Elizabeth loved and cherished her family, especially her two children.
Elizabeth leaves behind her husband of 20 years, Brian McDonald, her parents, Bill and Dorothy Gilbreth, her children, Austin and Rachel McDonald, her sisters, Jennifer Bookout (Steve) and Amy Rodgers (Carlos), along with her nieces and nephews, Stephanie Lease, Casey Bookout, Nicholas Bookout, Carissa Rodgers, Sarah Goldman and Brandon Netka, along with Katelyn, Connor, Kinslee, Brayden and Bailey.
Deegan Funeral Chapels is honored to serve the McDonald family. A visitation is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 30, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel; 111 S. Palm Ave, Ripon, CA. A graveside service is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 1 at 10:00 AM at Ripon Cemetery followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM at Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel.
