Esther Viola Cox

Esther Viola Cox, a longtime resident of Ripon, CA, passed away at home on November 2nd, 2019.  She was born in Columbus, Ohio to parent’s Helen Alice Hartman and Ivan Hartman.  She had two sisters and three brothers: Pauline, Loraine, William, Edward and Richard.  In 1949, she married Robert William “Pop” Cox.  After living in Ohio and West Virginia, they eventually moved and settled in Walnut Creek, California.  They moved to Ripon, California in 1984. Esther is survived by her daughters: Linda Kay McRoy and Cindy Lou Stanley, two grandsons: Jesse and Buddy and two great grandchildren, Liam and Luna.  She loved them all very much.
