Gladys Alline Hazenberg

Gladys Hazenberg graduated to Glory on January 13, 2021 in Escalon, CA at the age of 92.  Gladys was born on April 15, 1928 in Hot Springs, Arkansas.  Gladys was the daughter of Arie and Bessie Verschoor.  Gladys has been a resident of Escalon for the past 75 years.

Gladys lived as a faithful servant to our Lord Jesus.  She was a devout Christian and a member of Escalon Christian Reformed Church.  She also loved and cared for her family above all else.  Gladys will be remembered for her kind heart and her love for others.

Gladys leaves behind her children, Robert and Debra of Manteca, Nancy and Larry of Missoula, MT, Diana and Terry of Escalon, Ronald of Federal Way, WA, Gregory and Sandy of Turlock and Helen of LeGrande, OR along with 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.  Gladys is preceded in death by her parents, siblings and her husband of 69 years, John Hazenberg. 

Deegan Funeral Chapel is honored to serve the Hazenberg family.  A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 23 at 11 AM at Escalon Christian Reformed Church.  Donations in her memory may be made to Hospice or Bethany Home in Ripon.
