Harlene Hansen Craig

Harlene Hansen Craig passed away peacefully on November 11, 2017 in Riverbank, CA at the age of 79.  Harlene was born on February 18, 1938 in Oakland, California to James and Virginia Toney.  Harlene has been a resident of Escalon for the past 26 years.

Harlene enjoyed spending most of her time tending to her garden.  She was also an animal lover, who would never turn down a stray dog or cat.  Harlene was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be deeply missed.

Harlene leaves behind her three sons, Charles Craig III (Sherrie), Scott Craig (Rita) and Todd Craig (Brian Conway) along with 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, she also leaves behind her siblings, Mervyn Toney, Marilyn Toney and Mark Toney.  Harlene is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Charles Craig, Jr. and her sister, Margie Toney.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Deegan Funeral Chapel.  A graveside service is scheduled for Thursday, November 16th at 11:00 AM at Burwood Cemetery in Escalon.  A celebration of Harlene’s life will be held in early 2018.
