Henry Paul Schmidt

Henry “Bubba” Schmidt passed away on January 17, 2021 at 66 years old in Ripon, CA after a long struggle with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease). He is survived by his wife of nearly 35 years, Debbie Schmidt and his daughter, Samantha as well as his mother, Dorine Schmidt, sister Mary (Bill) Hogan, and brother Paul (Tammy) Schmidt. He was preceded in death by his brothers Derek “Squeaker” Schmidt and David “Pokey” Schmidt. 

Bubba was born in Stockton, CA on February 1, 1954 and lived in San Joaquin County his whole life. He was devoted to his family, a huge NASCAR fan and loved “his boys,” his two shih tzus, Toby and Tyler. He was a respected carpenter in the area for nearly 50 years; he was especially proud of the work he did on his home as well the schools he helped build. He is pounding nails in heaven now.
