Janice Ann Alcantor peacefully passed away in the presence of her loving husband and family April 26, 2022 at the age of 79. She was born January 18, 1943 to George and Emily Goularte in Hayward, CA. Janice was very active in the Escalon Community, she was the past President of Y.L.I., Van Allen 4-H Community Leader and El Portal Bowling League Secretary just to name a few. Janice was employed with Escalon Packers for 28 years as a Labtech Supervisor. She was the glue that held the family together, an excellent baker that had everyone asking for another piece, the NASCAR fanatic who rooted for #24 & #5 hollering at the T.V. on race days, the loving wife and partner for 60 years and the best and most fun loving grandma around.
Janice was my best friend, amazing wife, travel partner and my everything. Life will not be the same without her as she left an empty spot in my heart. The memories we created will keep me going, but she will always be with me. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The great-grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life. She loved that they were still small enough to hug, squeeze and kiss. It was clear that they loved her just as much. We know that she will be watching over them from above. -Love, Bob
