Jaqueline Lee Winters

                Jacqueline Lee Winters, 78, of Ripon, passed away peacefully at New Hope in Tracy, California. Jacqueline was born on August 16, 1941 in Carson City, Nevada. She had many fond memories of her early childhood years with her grandparents who lived in Reno and Sparks, Nevada. Jacqueline moved to Manteca, California in her elementary years. She was a 1960 graduate of Manteca High School.

                Jacqueline was a homemaker for most of her life. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, decorating, and taking care of her family. When her children were older, she managed Gico Farms produce stand. She loved working with teenagers. Many of them remember how she loved to laugh. Jacqueline, or Jackie, as most people called her, had a good sense of style. She enjoyed shopping and buying gifts for her family and friends. She also enjoyed celebrating holidays and birthdays with her family. She would prepare special meals and set a beautiful table. Jackie and her family made many good memories camping near Bear Valley, CA, at their family property.

                Jacqueline was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Dorothy Mansfield, her husband of 50 years, Gordon Winters and her daughter in law Nina Winters. She is survived by her children Shirley Meeuwse, Larry Winters (Lynn), David Winters, and Mark Winters, all of Ripon. She will also be missed by her grandchildren Matthew Cavanaugh (Jenni) of Turlock, Eric Cavanaugh (Lauren) of Ripon, Katie Hay (Matt) of Carson City, Nevada, and Carlie Hart (Tom) of Oakdale and Courtney, MacKenzie and Michael Winters of Ripon. She also leaves behind 6 great grandchildren.

                A private graveside service will be held at Ripon Cemetery.
