Jennie L. Cushenberry

February 10, 1950 – May 18, 2021

Jennie Cushenberry (Boer) passed away peacefully at the age of 71 in Hughson, California. Born in Modesto on February 10, 1950, she was a lifelong resident of the area.

Jennie served her community as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in the pediatrics department at Sutter Gould Memorial Foundation for 20+ years, until she retired in 2015. She will be remembered by those she helped to heal over the years, and deeply missed by her family and friends.

Jennie is survived by her children, Jonathan Cushenberry (Kathi), Jason Cushenberry (Courtney), and Jaclyn Manthe (Les); her grandchildren, Les Manthe IV, Stephanie Soto, Lee Keller, Jeramee Cushenberry, Jordynn Cushenberry, Jayda Cushenberry, Ayden Cushenberry, Max Manthe, and Emmett Manthe; as well as 2 great-grandchildren.

Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel is honored to serve the Cushenberry Family. A graveside service will be held in honor of Jennie on Friday, May 28, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Ripon Cemetery.
