It is with great sadness that the family of John Luke Bridges announces his sudden and tragic passing on September 4, 2022 at the age of 30. Johnny was born on January 23, 1992 to parents, Edmund Bridges and Rita Schleiss.
Johnny was a proud Marine and patriot, adventurer and loving father, son, brother, uncle and cousin. Johnny lived for his daughters, Claire and Madison, they were his pride and joy of his whole life. He was a river aficionado and enjoyed rafting, hiking, camping and swimming. He enjoyed going on road trips during his free time with his father. He enjoyed his job, working for Tesla. Above all else, Johnny truly believed in the power of prayer and was so very proud to serve his country. He will be forever loved and missed by his entire family and all his friends.
Johnny leaves behind his father, Edmund Bridges of Redwood City and his mother and step father, Rita and Bernie Fyock of Escalon. His beautiful daughters, Claire and Madison Bridges and his 6 sisters, Jacquie Nivens, Amy Burns, Crystal Brank, Brittany Johnson, Erica Hidalgo and Rita Faria. Johnny is preceded in death by his brother, Eddie Bridges and sister, Elisa Fyock.
Deegan Funeral Chapel is honored to serve the Bridges family. A Viewing is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 10 AM at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, followed by the rosary at 10:30 and Mass at 11:00 AM.
