Julia Ringness Bridges

Julia “Julie” Corin (Ringness) Bridges was a caring wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She left this world on March 12, 2021 at age 45 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Julie was born in Pasadena, California on June 29, 1975 and was raised by her mother Virginia Pinnell and step-father Gary Pinnell, and her father Richard Ringness and step-mother Sharon Ringness in Stockton, California. After graduating from Tokay High School, she went on to earn her degree from Sacramento State University. She worked as a reading intervention specialist until her first child was born.

In 1998, Julie married the love of her life, Jim Bridges. Together, they have four children, Lauren, Luke, Leighton, and Liam, whom Julie dedicated her life’s work to. She enjoyed traveling, baking, and epic family adventures. Julie was also a proud member of Mom’s Club Ripon/Salida, Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS), and Crossroads Grace Community Church. Julie had an infectious smile, a gentle, supportive spirit, and a deep and abiding love of the Lord. She will be greatly missed by friends and family.

She is survived by her husband Jim; children Lauren, Luke, Leighton, and Liam; sisters Kim Hiltachk (Tom) and Stephanie Pennell (Greg); and parents Virginia & Gary Pinnell and Richard & Sharon Ringness. Julie was preceded in passing by her beloved grandparents Clyde and Geraldine Romines, Earl and Geneva Ringness, and Georgia Harrell.

A memorial service is scheduled for 10 a.m. on April 9, 2021 at Crossroads Grace Community Church, 1505 Moffat Blvd, Manteca, CA 95336. A private burial to take place thereafter. Memorial donations may be made in Julie’s name to “Cru” or “Campus Crusade for Christ” (cru.org). Cru’s mission is to give everyone the opportunity to know Jesus.
