Lorena Knox

Lorena Knox passed away peacefully on February 12, 2018 at her home in Escalon at the age of 94. She was born in New Iberia, Louisiana but has been a resident of Escalon for the past 75 years. She worked for a local winery for 15 years. Throughout her life, Lorena loved the outdoors and camping. Social gatherings were very important to her and she often shared her talent for cooking delicious food. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother that will be deeply missed.

Lorena leaves behind her son, Rick Rogers (Betsy) and her step-daughter, Suzanne Basacker (Brian) and her granddaughter, Tracy Rogers.  Lorena is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Al Knox and her son Ron Rogers.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Deegan Funeral Chapel.  A graveside service is scheduled for Thursday, February 22nd at 11:00 AM at Burwood Cemetery in Escalon.  Remembrances in Lorena’s name may be made to Community Hospice.
