Lynn Ellen Meade

Lynn Ellen Meade passed away peacefully of natural causes while visiting Orem, Utah with one of her granddaughters on January 5th, 2020 at the age of 74.  Lynn was born in Richmond, Contra Costa, CA on September 27, 1945 to parents, Howard Malcolm Davis and Lucy Marie (Fielding) Davis.  Lynn was raised in Richmond where she graduated from Harry Ells High School, class of 1963.  She attended Ricks Jr. College on the BYU Idaho Campus.  Lynn met Donald A. Meade and the two were married in July of 1965 and sealed in the Oakland Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in 1966.  She has been a resident Manteca for the past several years.

Lynn leaves behind her husband, Don Meade, her three sons, Jeff, John and Jeremy and her 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild.  Lynn also leaves behind her brother, Ken Davis.  She is preceded in death by her parents and 6 siblings, Colin, Marilyn, Verle, Darla, Malcolm and Kay.

Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel is honored to serve the Meade family.  A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, January 10th, 2020 at 1:00 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 1233 Northgate Drive in Manteca.  A graveside service is scheduled for Monday, January 13th at 11:00 AM at Tracy Public Cemetery.
