Maria Wright

Maria Gertrud Wright (maiden name Imeidopf), 85, of Ripon, CA, died Monday, May 2, 2022, in Modesto, CA at Doctor’s Medical Center.

She was born on December 14, 1936 to Josef and Juliane Imeidopf in Frammersbach, Bavaria, Germany. She was raised and educated in Germany.

Maria’s ex-husband was in the American Armed Services and was stationed in Germany. He and Maria met in Germany and got married in 1959. They had two children, Sina, born 1959, and John, born 1963. The family immigrated to the United States two times, first time in 1962 and then went back to Germany in 1965; second time in 1968. The couple divorced in 1970.

Maria enjoyed gardening, decorating, and baking. Her last place of work was a microchip manufacturing company in Manteca, CA, where she worked from 1981-1996 as a wire-bonder and microchip inspector. There she met her dear friend Ramin Tamraz of Turlock, CA in 1995. They became best friends and remained so thereafter.
