Peter Phillip Dalla

Peter Dalla, 73, peacefully passed away December 16, 2019 in Escalon, CA with his loving family by his side. Pete was born October 27, 1946 to Ross and Rose Dalla in Modesto, CA. Growing up in Modesto Pete attended and graduated from Downey High School in 1964. After graduation, Pete enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served during the Vietnam War while he was employed at LOF Glass Plant in Lathrop, CA. He later became a truck driver for Vernon Transportation in Stockton.

Pete enjoyed racing super modified racecars in the 1960’s and ‘70’s at Stockton, San Jose and Madera Speedways. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids, they meant the world to him and all the memories they created will live on with them. Pete is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Connie, daughter, Heather Pfarr (Jeff) of Ripon, son, Scott Dalla (Jennifer) of WY, grandchildren Kinley and Blakely Pfarr of Ripon, Michaela Dalla of NC, Canden and Emma Dalla of WY and brother, Frank Dalla of Modesto. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ross and Rose, brother, John and sister, Roseanne.

Deegan Funeral Chapel is honored to serve the Dalla family. Services for Pete will be announced at a later date. The family has requested in Lieu of flowers, donations be made to Escalon Sunrise Rotary or your local St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
