Peter Martini

Peter J. Martini passed away suddenly on August 13, 2017 at his home in Escalon at the age of 76.  Pete was born on February 1, 1941 to Peter and Anna Martini.  He has been a resident of Escalon his entire life. 

Pete was a member of the Escalon Lions Club and was a lifelong farmer.  He spent most of his time tending to his almond and peach orchards.  He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather that will be dearly missed.

Pete leaves behind his children, Lisa Martini Parsons, Andy Martini and Peter A. Martini along with his grandchildren, Brittany Martini, Lauren Martini, Vincent Martini, Alexander (Alex) Garnett and Ashlyn Garnett. Pete also leaves behind his sister, Nancy Martini.  Pete is preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Evelyn Martini and his sisters, Francis Paoletti and Dorothy Galeazzi. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Deegan Funeral Chapel.  A funeral mass is scheduled for Monday, August 21 at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Escalon.  Donations may be made in Pete’s name to the Escalon Ambulance.
