Peter Marvin Postma

Peter Marvin Postma, went to be with the Lord on March 2, 2018. He was 65. Pete leaves behind his loving wife, Judy Postma, and children Peter John Postma and his wife Christy Joy Postma, and Henry James Postma and his wife Carrie Ryan Postma. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Katelyn Helina Postma, Brooklyn Joy Postma, Gwenyth Ava Postma, Peter James Postma, Hazel Ryan Postma and Wyatt Daniel Postma, and his sister Carla Hubers. He is preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Charlotte Postma, and his sister Linda De Jong.

Pete cherished the time he spent with his family and loved his grandkids. He worked as a printing press operator most of his life, after working at Schoolland Brothers Construction. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting, exploring in the Sierras, and the quiet of early morning sunrises. He was loved and will be missed dearly.

A service will be held at Immanuel Church, 517 Orange Avenue in Ripon on Friday, March 16, 2018 at 2pm. There will be an open house at the Postma Family home between 4 and 7pm on Thursday, March 15th. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crossroads Prison Ministry, a ministry Pete and Judy have been involved with for 15 years.
