Raymond Bettis

It is with great sadness, we announce the death of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Raymond L Bettis. He was born on February 18, 1930 and  passed away peacefully on March 11, 2023 at his home in Ripon, Ca. He was 93 years young.

He grew up on the family farm in Escalon, CA with his brother Ricky, sister, Dolores along with his parents Lester and Elizabeth Bettis.  Raymond is a Korean War Veteran and served honorably in the U.S. Army.   He worked in the trucking industry, as a truck driver for most of his life.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Juanita Bettis, his son: Ronald (Maria) Bettis of Modesto, CA his

Daughters, Kathy (Scott) Andrews of Redmond, OR and Janet (Don) Schramm of Garden Valley, ID.  He also leaves behind 2 grandsons, and  2 great grandchildren.

No funeral or memorial services will be held.

Raymond loved hummingbirds. So all who wish to honor his life are invited to hang a hummingbird feeder at their home.
