Richard Costa

Richard Costa was a caring husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He left this world suddenly on September 2, 2022 at the early age of 71.

He was born to Arthur and Rebecca Costa on April 7, 1951, the eldest of 6 children. After graduating high school and attending Modesto Junior College, Richard served proudly in the US Navy.

Richard is survived by his loving wife, Jeri, and his canine companion Sir Reginald. He was a proud Papa to two daughters: Jessica Costa and Tricia Hannan who with her husband, Jason Hannan, provided three grandchildren, Angel, Rylee, and Gideon, for him to love, cherish and tease.

While his family are shocked by his sudden passing, they are thankful for his life. Richard was a quiet soul who relished the simple pleasures in life. Richard enjoyed spending time camping/fishing, reading, gardening and cooking ‘creations’ in the kitchen. Richard worked hard all his life and loved collecting sailboats, swords, and dragons.

A Celebration of Life will be held by his family at a later date.
