Sylvia Kathleen Franscella

Sylvia Kathleen Franscella passed away peacefully at her home in Ripon on October 5, 2021 at the age of 79.  Sylvia was born on December 19, 1941 to parents, Edward and Dorothy Carigiet in Stockton, California.  After growing up in Stockton, Sylvia settled in Ripon where she has been a resident ever since.

Sylvia worked for over 20 years for the San Joaquin County Court House as a Court Clerk.  After leaving the county, Sylvia and her husband owned and operated a successful business, ABetter Fire Equipment. She was an amazing cook and she loved to garden and spend time with her family and friends.  She will be remembered as a loving and compassionate mother and grandmother.

Sylvia leaves behind her son, Lawrence Franscella and her grandchildren, Vincent Franscella and Leea Jasso (Luis).  She is preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Gary Franscella and her brother, James Carigiet.
