Theodore Lewis Cadlolo

January 27, 1926 ~ December 25, 2021 (age 95) 95 Years Old

Tribute

Theodore Lewis Cadlolo, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to many, passed away peacefully on December 25th, of natural causes at 95 years old. Ted was born on January 27, 1926 in Escalon, California to Charles Cadlolo and Lila Dughi. As a young boy, he attended schools in Escalon where he enjoyed playing in the band. After graduating high school, Ted served in the Navy during World War 2. Upon his return home, he met and married the love of his life, Esther. They had three children and spent the next 65 years creating a full and happy life together. Ted always had a strong work ethic. With his father and brother, he ran the Cadlolo Family Winery for many years, while also working shifts at the Hershey factory. When Ted wasn’t working, he was enjoying his family and friends. He always found a way to celebrate life – through his card nights, his polka circles, the Swiss club, camping trips, and parties. Ted loved nothing more than entertaining a house full of friends, and he certainly knew how to tell a good story and a great joke. When retirement came, Ted built rental properties which he managed for many years while he and Esther carried on celebrating life. He particularly loved listening to accordion music, dancing and playing the spoons with Esther, and traveling – with many special times spent in Palm Springs and Pine Crest. Ted was truly a well-rounded man. He worked hard and played hard, and he will be missed by so many.

Ted is survived by his daughter, Sharon Andreassen (Chris); his grandchildren, Kelli Pearman, (Jon) of Lodi, Lacey D’Anna (Rusty) of Lodi, Scott Oliver of Escalon; and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Esther; his sons, Steven Cadlolo and David Cadlolo; and his siblings, Bernita, Evelyn, Lila, Charles, and Ray. There will be Military Honor Guard in attendance for a graveside service at 11am on January 5th at Burwood Cemetery. Those preferring to make donations in loving memory of Ted, may do so through Escalon Ambulance or a charity of choice.
