Theodore Segaar

Theodore Segaar entered his eternal rest on August 6, 2018, at the age of 99.  He was born on April 20, 1919 in Brooten, Minnesota to Peter and Tryntje Segaar.  On April 3, 1946, Ted married Pearl DeKruyf. 

He is survived by his children, Roger (Barbara) Segaar, Ripon, Betty (Jesse) Graves, Ripon, Linda (Jake) Weeda, Hudsonville, MI, Mary Jo (Bill) VandenBos, Bozeman, MT, Jerry (Pamela) Segaar, Ripon, Laura (Doug) Schippers, Sault Ste. Marie, MI, Lisa Hobbs, Sonora, and Susan (James) Oberg, Ripon. He was preceded in death by his wife Pearl, his son Dan, his son-in-law Bill Berghorst and his granddaughter Sarah Weeda.

Visitation will take place Sunday, August 12, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Deegan Memorial Chapel, Ripon. Graveside service will take place Monday 10:30 a.m. at Ripon Cemetery.  A celebration of his life will take place Monday, August 13 at 11:30 at Almond Valley Christian Reformed Church.
