Thomas “Lumpy” Ladonga passed away peacefully on April 6, 2018 in Modesto at the age of 60.  Lumpy was born on November 6, 1957 in Turlock, CA to Primo and Leona Ladonga.  He has been a resident of Modesto for the past 24 years.

Lumpy was a machinist in the San Joaquin Valley automotive industry in which he worked for over 35 years.  When he wasn’t in the shop, he loved hunting in the high Sierras, fishing local lakes and rivers and shooting trap and skeet.  He was a member of the Old Fisherman’s Club for 22 years and considered the club his home and the members to be his brothers.  Lumpy was hard not to love; he was well known and well respected in both the automotive and shooting communities.  He had countless friends and a loving family that will miss him forever.

Lumpy leaves behind his son, Zeb Ladonga and his daughter, Jessica Ladonga, his grandchildren, Nya Ladonga, Stanley Ladonga-Mananquil, Evelyn Ladonga-Mananquil, Dylon Fleming, Nicholaus Fleming.  He also leaves behind his siblings Albina Celestine, Steve Ladonga and Lu Scott.

Deegan Funeral Chapel is honored to serve the Ladonga family.  A celebration of Lumpy’s life will be held on May 12th at 5:00PM at the Old Fisherman’s Club; 10800 Maze Blvd in Modesto.
