Tribute

Toni L. Dugo, 75, passed away peacefully at her home in Escalon on January 3, 2022.  Toni was born on January 17, 1946 in Sacramento, CA and has been a resident of Escalon for the past 40 years.

After finishing school, Toni worked as a nurse for several years.  After retiring, Toni became very involved with church.  Her second family and home was Prescott Evangelical Church in Modesto where she spent countless hours at Bible Study and was an ASL interpreter during church services.  Outside of church, Toni loved to trap shoot.  She was known at the Waterford Sportsmans Club as the “Picture Lady” because she would take all the photos and post them on social media for trap shoots.  Above all else, Toni loved her family, especially her grandkids and great grandkids.  She will be remembered for her wry sense of humor and big heart.

Toni leaves behind her husband of 49 years, Richard J. Dugo, her grandchildren, Rochelle Howe, Annie Dugo and Danae Blythe (Jaron) and her great grandchildren, Bret, Layla, Callie, Samara and Mia Blythe and Kamini and Issac Howe.  Toni also leaves behind her sister, Marilyn Coyle,  Toni is preceded in death by her daughter, Stephanie Dugo and her sister, Shirley Miller.

Deegan Funeral Chapel is honored to serve the Dugo family.  A graveside service for her close friends and family is scheduled for Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 2PM at Burwood Cemetery in Escalon.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.
