Welcome to the memorial page for

Rosie Dysinger

April 13, 1952 ~ September 29, 2017 (age 65)

Rosie Dysinger, longtime resident of Escalon and beloved friend, mother, and grandma passed away Friday, September 29th after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease.

Born in Butte, Montana in 1952, Rosie spent the earlier part of her life in Big Sky Country, graduating from Butte Central High in 1970 and setting out on a life’s journey that brought her across much of the western United States. A gifted and tenacious salesperson, Rosie’s career was marked by numerous sales awards and honors and included stints with Montana Power, Farmer Jack Grocer, US West Direct, and her later work as an international interpreter and consultant.

The heart and soul of every party, Rosie lived a life steeped in friendships far and wide and arm in arm with her husband Michael whom she first met 51 years prior as teenage sweethearts.  It was a life defined by passion and devotion to family and friends and characterized by the belief that a positive attitude can and will accomplish anything in this world.  With this in mind, Rosie sought out adventure in all she did, never allowing fear to hold her back, not even for a single second.  As she would often say to her boys, Jon and Richard, sometimes “you just have to get out there and wrestle”, and wrestle she did.

Much like her favorite film, Rosie found happiness over the rainbow and spent her later years an enthusiastic world traveler, including being present at her grandson Logan Michael’s birth in Japan. His highly anticipated arrival brought her such incredible joy that she once remarked that “she had waited her whole life to meet this one person”, and it was truly a love reciprocated.

Rosie is survived by her husband Michael of Escalon, brother Joseph of Missoula, Montana, beloved sons Jon of Nashville, Tennessee and Richard of Kaiserslautern, Germany, daughter-in-law Billie, and her treasured grandson Logan Michael. Likewise, Rosie is also survived by a world of friends and the many, many adopted grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart.

Now embarking on her next grand adventure, Rosie’s legacy is witnessed in the immense outpouring of love and faith from family, friends, and even those whom her positive and giving nature only briefly touched upon.  Never to be forgotten, Rosie and all she stood for will forever live on in our hearts and smiles.

As her beloved Elvis Presley once said, “Until we meet again, let God bless you as he has blessed me.”
